Mack’s Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs, Value Pack, 6 pr Review
I think these ear plugs work amazingly well — MUCH better than foam, and quite a bit better than the wax/cotton blends. There are two downsides: (1) hair gets caught in them, so in the morning you’re having to remove them carefully to make sure you don’t have any silicone residue in your hair; (2) they’re kind of tricky to learn to use right at first. They’re really BIG and disc-shaped–if you’re used to rolling earplugs up and sticking them in your ear canal, the size and shape are confusing! 
Basically, you stick them OVER your ear canal, like laying a penny flat across the opening. As they warm up from your body heat, you can kind of stretch them out and smoosh them into the shape of the inside of your own ear so that they make a tight seal. Once they’re in place they work great and stay in all night. For me, they last for 3-4 nights/pair.
